switching module sessions?

I know that when in CatOS switching side, you can connect to your MSFC card by issueing the 'session <mod>' command. But is there something similar to get from the MSFC IOS prompt into the CatOS prompt on the switch side?

Thanks,

Greg

Re: switching module sessions?

If you've accessed the MSFC using the session command, issue the exit command or the logout command to switch back.

If you've accessed the MSFC using the switch console command, hit Ctrl-c three times to switch back.

Re: switching module sessions?

That's good to know, but not quite what I meant.

If I telnet from my PC to the SUP card, I can switch to the MSFC using the session command.

If I telnet from my PC to the MSFC card, I can switch to the SUP using the ????? command.

Please fill in the blank.

Re: switching module sessions?

There is no special command to switch from the MSFC to the SUP such as the one available from the SUP to the MSFC. You can always use regular telnet to do so though.

Hope this helps,
