Is it possible to get a port configured for 2 vlans, the port plugs into a server, could I set the port as a trunk and just allow vlan 1 and 100 on the trunk ?
For all other switches, you will need to trunk. If you are connecting to a server, you can trunk and allow 2 VLANs as long as your server supports trunking.
