hello,

please can anybody explain me the following error mesage on a cat 4006 running with cat os 6.2.1:

%SYS-4-P2_WARN: 1/Blocked queue on gigaport 31

to which blade is gigaport 31 corresponding ?

these blades are into the switch:

cat 4 Sup 2

WS-X4013

WS-X4306

WS-X4232-L3

You have not pasted the full error you are seeing. gigaport 31 maps to slot 3. Check to see anything out of the ordinary in slot6, like port errors/broadcast traffic etc. Also if you get a chance upgrade the software to 6.3(8). ALso paste the output of show nvramenv 1

Gigaport 31 corresponds to port 1/2. Is this port heavily loaded (show mac 1/2). If it is not heavily loaded, it may be a bad supervisor. Swap 1/1 and 1/2, does it follow the port or the connection??

Also, post a show counters 1/2

I would strongly suggest upgrading the software.
