Syslog Analyser not starting

Hi guys,

We have ciscoworks2000 installed in windows 2000 professional. RME ver 3.4 is installed (CD One 5th edition). The syslogAnalyser process is not starting. when I try to start it, it's shutting down automatically after 2 or 3 seconds. The message is Administrator has shutdown the process. I am not getting the syslog messages for the devices because of the not running of syslogAnalyser.

What can I do to run the process.

Suggestions are appreciated.

You can check if the servers in the dependencies list for SyslogAnalyzer are up and running. " %installpath%\CSCOpx\bin\pdcmd -l SyslogAnalyzer " would list the servers (against 'Dependencies') that need to be running before SyslogAnalyzer can be started. 'EssentialsDbMonitor' & 'EDS' could be seen in a local RME installation.
