If I'm using 256k fractional T1, what is the proper timeslot settings?

service-module t1 timeslots 1-4 speed 64, right?

That is probably correct, but the only way to know is to find out from the telco how the line was provisioned. There is no law that says that they must use channels in sequence.

that is correct. the speed will be set automatically

This would be correct assuming that the CSU is set for Channels 1 through 4.

your carrier may or may not be using channels 1-4.

as mentioned in the previous post. check with the carrier to see what channels are set for you in the CO. then verify your CSU is set for those channels.
