I have a CiscoWorks 2000 server setup (Windows 2000) and I want to be able to make modifications to my IOS configs on my network.
My AAA config is local only -I am not using a AAA server. I have
router(config)#aaa authentication login default local
router(config)#username bob password cisco
I go to device properties in CiscoWorks and add a TACACS+ username and password in order to connect, along with the enable secret password. However, when I use the config editor, I get a failure message and an error which states a telnet session could not be completed. I can telnet normally from the server.
Anyone have any idea on how to do this? Or what the issue could be?
