Tagging frams with the 802.1p cos on 3550 switches
I am trying to test 802.1p functionality on cat 3550s. I want the ingress switch port from a server to add the cos value and have the packet tagged and stay tagged until it gets to the destination ws. I should be able to verify via sniffer traces or debugs on the switch to see if the 802.1p priority tag has been assigned.
My problem is that in the IOS documentation I cannot find how to do this. I tried the Qos section in the 3550 12.1(12c) documentation and tried the following commands:

I'm make a project where i need to do trafic diferentiation. I need to mark the packets in layer 2 (802.1p) in catalyst 3550 and make some network tests. The problem is i can't mark(or tag, i don't now certainly) the switch.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
