Telnet QoS

I want to telnet to 3 unix hosts. I need to ensure that telnet gets 50pc bandwidth guaranteed during congestion and it's a free for all at all other times. Will this config do it?

class-map match-all Telnet_QoS

match access-group 199

policy-map QoS_Policy

class Telnet_QoS

priority percent 50

class class-default

access-list 199 permit tcp any gt 1023 any eq telnet log

access-list 199 permit tcp any eq telnet gt 1023 log

Alternatively, will a priority list do it? What's my move?

Cheers

Re: Telnet QoS

You can delete "class class-default" command because you're defining this policy for Telnet_QoS class. And instead of "priority percent 50" you should use "percent 50" because this "priority " statement is used for LLQ configuration and I think not needed for this kind of config. And eventually you'll apply this policy to some interfaces you needed, for example:

"service-policy output QoS_Policy"
