hello,

my customer has got the following set up

site a & site b are connected via a 2mbps leased line

site b & site c are connected via a 64 k radio link

all routers are cisco 1751

site a is the head office and hosts an intranet site.

when an http session i.e a web browser is opened from the site c & the intranet site is requested, the 64k link goes down.

we cannot ping on the serial interface of site c router from site a router.

Also the serial interface on router at site c shows only DCD & CTS down.

but the telnet session is not lost.

the link comes up automatically after some time.

the link works fine with any other type of traffic.

the router configurations are fine.

what might be wrong?

HI,

is it possible to type in any character on the telnet session during the line between c and b

is down? DCD down normally indicates a physical problem which is almost unlikley caused

by http traffic. Is it possible to request any other http site? What encapsulation is used over the

radio link (HDLC, PPP)? Are there any other errors on the interface on site c?

Need this infos to get a clear picture.
