Test Lab config

Firstly, apologies if the answer to this question is startlingly obvious ! -

I have 2 x 2501's and 1 x 2522 setup in a lab. I have connected the first 2501 to the Serial0 interface on the 2522, and connected the second 2501 to the Serial1 interface on the 2522. I have connected the DCE end of the DB60 connectors to the 2501's.

I hav assigned all the IP addresses to the serial interfaces and configured encapsulation as HDLC. I have also enable RIP on all deves, but I can seem to get the routers to see each other through just the Serial interfaces - does anybody have any ideas ?

Thanks.

Re: Test Lab config

Normally clocking is provided by the networkprovider. In a back-to-back this is not the case. Therefore you have no clocking.

Set a clock-rate on the DCE-ports of both links. To set the speed to 128k:

int s0

clock rate 128000

end

Leo
