Test QoS on GE interfaces

Hi

We are planning to test QoS over a GE link (can not run at FE).

Since we can not jam up the GE link, can we use rate-limiting command to restrict the bandwidth to maybe only 100Mb and then test the QoS?

Any other better way to reduce the bandwidth for QoS testing?

"rate-limiting" interface command, if that is what you meant, is not supported on Catalyst 6000 or any L3 switch. Instead, use policing to police or control the the traffic flow.
