Testing Nextport modems on AS5350

I have a AS5350 with PRI network module with NP108 digital modems. The PRI line has not been provisioned, and I am trying to test the mode result code (ie. "NO CARRIER") via reverse telneting and manually issuing ATDT command. I don't see any codes.

(1) Logically, I should see a RESULT code of "NO CARRIER" even if a layer 1 is not connected.

Yes, you should see some feedback from

the modem. You should ensure the config

of the modems, and ensure that you have

recent firmware on the modems.
