Testing two CSU\DSU locally

I would like to test my T1 cards in 2 different routers in the same site without using a T1 line. I thought I read a tech article a while ago that through either software or a special pin out with a CAT5 cable, that one could create a serial connection between two csu\dsus on 2 different routers locally. Does anyone know how to do this, if possible?

Thanks,

RJ

This is a thanks long overdue. I am responding to this post with different profile since the old profile I had is no longer valid. This has helped in a big way in my lab!
