Here is our senario. We hooked up our new cable service to a cable modem. From the cable modem, can we run a line to the 802 router so that we can allow 3 other computers to access the internet? Or is this router only able to interpret DSL signals.
802 router just have one ethernet port and You can only have ethernet connection between cable modem and 802 router..In that case there is no way that you can have your 3 users/computers connected to 802..You can't use the hub between cable modem and 802..Your isp will assign ip address to eth port of 802 (or devide plugged on the eth port of cable modem)..So you need 804 or 806 where it can have more then one ethernet port to plug the PC's etc..
