The "show ip " command of catalyst 1900 show ' RIP : Enabled'

This means that catalyst 1900 support RIP routing protocol ?

How do catalyst treat RIP routing update ?

Re: The "show ip " command of catalyst 1900 show ' RIP : Enabled

"Route Information Protocol (RIP) allows the switch to automatically discover router gateway address. With this feature, administrators no longer need to manually reenter router IP addresses in the switch in the event of network changes or transient network failures."

So, it is only a 'RIP listener'.
