To cnftrk on an IGX 8430 and change the line cable length on an active trunk do you need to dntrk first

I am having physlnerrs on my trunks with the line cable length set to 0-225 and the trks with >225 have no problems.

dntrk is necessary when changing some tunk parameters, cable lenght is a parameter that demand down the trunk.
