Last week, i post the topic about how to connect internet by 2514, thank you for your idea, but it doesn't work.

I have 1*2514(2 ethernet ports), 1*PC(2 NICs, one is 3COM, the another is Intel), 1*mini hub(5*10/100M)

My ISP is Rogers AT&T, who provide cable internet service.

I connect internet by the cable modem(Ericisson). my 3COM card connect the cable modem, and the Intel card connect the hub. everything is OK.

now I want to connect internet by 2514, you told me:

conf t

int e 0

ip addr dhcp

mac-address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx(3COM card)

but it doesn't work.

I can not get the IP from Rogers, even I put the static IP on the E0

tell me why and help me to connect the internet.
