too long configuration in 1603

I have 15 dialers in Cisco 1603 for different ISDN connections, I increment "boot buffersize" and I'll be able to add next dialer, but after rebooting router - added dialer disapear. How I can increase configuration file?

Have you saved the running configuration to the NVRAM.?

Normally nvram would be having enough memory to hold the configuration.

yes, of course, I have saved configuration. I,m sorry I have to precise "disapear dialer", I'm not losing new dialer config, but last config lines, like last access-list, line con, line vty.

Re: too long configuration in 1603

The NVRAM that stores your config is about 7K in size. This should be adequate, even for your config. It looks like you have a DRAM issue. How much memory is there in your 1603? Is it ia 1603 or a 1603R? The problem can also be IOS-version related. Need more info to check this.

Posting a -sh ver- would supply the required info.

Re: too long configuration in 1603

Before doing any further checks on the config etc. , I would advise you to upgrade to a more recent IOS. 11.3-10, T-release is not a suitable environment to test whatever issue on.

I even think there may have been known issues with this release related to your problem. Please upgrade to v12.0 and use the GD software. 12.0(24) or (25) I suspect that this will solve the problem.

Leo
