toshiba cable modem + 1720 = LAN??

I have road runner cable broadband with a toshiba modem. I would like to be able to connect it to my 1720 router. I here is my show version:

I think this is the correct IOS and I have the ethernet WIC card installed. Can you tell me if this is possible. I want to be able to configure NAT and DHCP server on the 1720 for my internal LAN.

You got cable modem along with the toshiba analog modem..Now you can't connect the cable modem with 1720 over a cable line but you can use the analog modem to connect to 1720's AUX port using PPP or exec connection.

Now since you have ethernet and fast ethernet on the router, you can use the router as DHCP server along with NAT too.
