traffic profile

Does someone know how to trace the traffic profile of the leased line? that means: how many bytes through http, ftp, smtp, echo, ... individually. If the cisco router can not do it, can some tools be available? how to do it? thanks!

Re: traffic profile

The router can gather the data you need. However, you will need an external tool (either purchased or write your own in SQL) to interperate the data.

What your interested in is exporting NetFlow data. this link might help:

Re: traffic profile

There are many tools like Sniffer WAN Pro, Net Reality's Wisewan etc. to see protocol distribution on your WAN Links.
