Trapping Ethernet interface up/down changes on all cisco routers

I was unable to find a MIB that trap the ethernet interface status change. I could trap on the generic up/down trap but the IFindex for the ethernet interface are different across the product range. Any Suggestions

Not possible asfar as I can tell.. ifIndex merely assigns a numerical value to interfaces regardless of type.
