trouble :Router(boot)

Hi all,

when i start my router , i have always this prompt Router(boot). i verify my config-register by the command sh ver , i find 0x2102.

How can i resolve this problems ??????

I beleive your router is not finding a good image when it is booting up ,so it is booting to bootflash can you paste in the console output, a sh ver and sh flash ,dir slotx: and the portion of sh run that shows your boot statements If you have any boot statements make sure they are correct .

Yes, he is probably right, but if this is for an MSFC, you could be running into a bootloader problem. I had an MSFC stuck at that prompt for awhile until I moved away from 12.1(13) bootloader code, its actually an interaction between the CatOS and bootloader.

What type of equipment is this?

I have this problem with my 7206-G1. I have tracked it down to a bad compact flash card.
