Trouble with 2950 and 3com cardbus 3CCFE575BT-D

I'm encountering problems in performance with a 2950G or T. When using a Dell Latitude with a 3com cardbus 3CCFE575BT-D pcmcia networkcard there's a lot of performance degradation, but when connecting a HUB between these two devices the problem is solved. Probebly there is a problem with buffering, 'cause when we sniffer the switch ports there are a lot of retransmissions in the output traffic of the port. (From switch port to Laptop) Is there anyone who is aware of a Bug or a known problem. This problem occurs on all Dell - 3com configurations. (Running on Win/NT with the latest drivers and servicepacks)

There are issues but i know i have had some with CatOS, however have a look at this.

3COM 3C574/575 PCMCIA 10/100 - Extremely slow performance when operating at 10 MB

Fix:

Upgrade to latest NIC card driver and disable auto-polarity
