Troubleshooting an intermittent LRE port

We have an LRE (LongReachEthernet) port that keeps bouncing up and down. We have verified that the remote end (2950 switch) speed/duplex match the LRE Ethernet feed port speed/duplex. (10M/Half)

RS Errs - 0

AGC-Gain - 26.8

SNR - 39

CPE-Tx - 69.7

Also, although the remote end switch feed is forced to 10/half, a number of users are auto negotiating 100/full.

What should we be looking for? Is the mix of 10/100 a problem? Other LRE configs/profiles we should try?

I guess it has got nothing to do with full or half duplex negotiations, not sure though.

The only option remaining is to troubleshoot it in the perspective of LRE configs or profiles.
