Trunk & EtherChannel

Hi guys,

I have a question, what is the diference between trunk and EtherChannel, I have 2 Switches 2924XL connected using the 2 fiber link on ports 23 and 24, How can I make a load balance between this 2 ports ?

Thanks,

Alex

Re: Trunk & EtherChannel

A trunk carrys multiple VLANs while etherchannel aggregates bandwidth across multiple links. If you have only 1 VLAN, then you will need to use etherchannel to load balance across the 2 ports.
