Trying to download software image to cat6509 via xmodem

I have a cat6509 that is not connected to the network and I am trying to load a software image to it. I start the xmodem transfer and it completes however, I get the following message:

loadprog: error - too many ELF program segments

Does anyone know what this error means?

If you are still having problems loading an image on your flash, be sure that you are attempting to load the correct image. I have seen this message in the past before when someone was trying to use a sup11 image rather than a sup12 image.

If you are using a flash card, you could try putting this pcmcia card into another 6509 that is running and load the image onto it that way.
