Trying to Graph ip broadcast traffic!!!! Please help.
I am trying to graph ip broadcast traffic on all gig-e ports of a 6509 with the IOS image (12.2). I am using snmp (MRTG) and polling ifInBroadcastPkts and ifOutBroadcastPkts and the problem is that the stats I'm seeing in the graphs seem odd. All of the interfaces have nearly identical broadcast packets per second stats. I also have ciscoworks and have not been able to figure out a way to graph using that. Please help. I've even tried using the ifHCInBroadcastPkts value. I'm trying to graph in packets per second...not the actual amount of bandwidth used by broadcasts. Thanks very much
