I have a uBR905 cable modem router using Comcast home internet service. The routing works fine in bridging mode. I am trying to configure routing mode using the cable-modem dhcp-proxy nat command. I am using a 12.2(8)T10 ios. After entering all necessary commands and reloading the router, the loopback0 interface never receives an address. Also, when checking the cont c0 Mac state, it never gets to the maintenance_state. The cable interface gets to the registration_state then restarts. Does anyone have any ideas?
