I need some information about the 905 cable routers.
I am doing an install for a customer and Comcast is putting a ubr905 cable router/modem in with a static ip address.
Will it be possible to put another router(an 831 for example) behind that and assign the static ip to the 831? If so do i need a specific configuration on the 905, like putting into a bridge mode or does the 905 come already setup to be able to do this?
Any info or a push in the right direction would be great.
