Unable to telnet

Hi

i m currently facing some problem in one location which is getting connected to our BRI using one 1721 router .

we have got 3660 in place at our end,and 15 locations in total and no problems in accessing(telneting)14 locations except tht particular location.i m tryng telnet from the 3660series only.

i m getting the following error while telneting ,all the locations are hving the same conf and at my side too the same cofnig for all the 15 locations.

wht may be the possible reason for this ??

Trying x.x.x.x...

% Connection timed out; remote host not responding

Re: Unable to telnet

Hello,

not sure if you have anybody at the remote site that can access the router locally but if you have, let him or her clear the vty lines. Or have somebody power down/power up the router.

This could also be a problem with a very busy router at the remote site that has no CPU cycles available.

When you PING the remote site are the response times ok ?

Regards,

Georg
