Unable to tunnel to Router-15

Hi I have a 6500 with a MSFC in the slot 1, but when I put session 15 I can't reach the router and tell me Unable to tunnel to Router-15.

How can I reach the router?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Unable to tunnel to Router-15

Are you trying to get the switch going with an IOS image?

Reading your other posting it appears to me that you are trying to accomplish something with the supervisor SW.

Regarding your question: When I repeat the procedure you describe I get an error as well. Digging in my memory I think it is as follows: When you are running the correct image you connect the router (MSFC-card) by telnetting to the supervisor IP adress. That is how it works with my switches.

A dump of: sh ver could confirm this. Check what image your supervisor runs at the moment. I suppose this is still CatOS.

Try the recovery procedure in the following page
