I have a 2924 that won't boot up. I type in boot, and it loads an image file, then when I try to configure it, and do a "wr mem" it gives me an error,
>>>nv_done: unable to open "config.txt.new"[OK]
NVRAM Verification Failed<<<<<
what would stop me from writing to nvram? or more importantly, and most likely, what am i doing wrong?
any suggestions welcome.

Well, here is an update. due to the fact I had nothing else better to do, I kept at it. For some reason, its ok now.
I would come up in Boot mode, and do a dir flash, I get "unable to stat flash/:permission denied(it does say read/write when I do a switch:dir)
I D/L an ios file from cco for this switch
(c2900XL-c3h2S-MZ-120.5-XW) and followed the procedure for copying a new software image from ROM Monitor. This seems to have fixed my problem.
would this problem/symptoms be consistant with a corrupt/damaged ios file?
