Does any one knows what causes a transmit underflow, I saw this in the log

on a 3640 router with a code 11.2

What has happened is that the controller has started putting the frame on the wire before the buffer has been filled, expecting the buffer to finish filling up before the controller needs the last of the data, but the router couldn't keep up with the output. This shouldn't happen very often during normal operation. If it is happening often, it is syptomatic of a larger problem, like very high CPU utilizations or errors on the input interfaces.

Thanks warren
