I configured a new 1601R running 12.0 via the console port. I did not (intentionally) configure any access controls for the console port. I saved the config and turned the router off. Now it's installed and powered up, and on the console port, after the usual boot messages, I get a "User access verification / Username:" prompt. I have NEVER seen that on a router. No name I enter is accepted. How did this happen and how do I gain access to the router?
