uni cast in vlan

Dear all

i am using sniffer to sniff traffic on a port which is a part of vlan and surprisingly i am able to see all unicast traffic on the other ports as if switch behaving like a hub for this vlan can some body clarify please

You may not see all unicast traffic. Unknown unicast are initially flooded before the switch learns the mac address. Also you have assymetric routing in your network, you would see it all the time till you fix it.

Assymetric routing is packet travels to a PC through one router/switch and the return packet goes to a different router/switch.
