Re: Unix Gigabit Multipathing on Cat4507

Two Cat4507R's single sup WS-X4515 running 12.1(12c)EW1, mod 3-5 are WS-X4148-RJ45, mod 7 is a WS-X4418-GB.

A Unix group have added 4x4800 dual FX-GbE with one port on each 4500. They run with this setup acros 6500's on 6.4.2 CatOS without issue however on the 4500's they appear to be losing one connection. At the moment it is early days and they have just added a patch onto their systems which has stopped some NFS stale/drop messages and we are about to to more testing.

All ports are set the same - however this is IOS and the 6500's are CatOS?

interface GigabitEthernet7/8

description xxxxx-primary

switchport access vlan 12

speed nonegotiate

end
