We are planning to upgrade on of our switches so we can use it at another location. The switch we have now is a 3550 with two GBIC interfaces and Duplex SC Connector.
I am looking at the 3560 as a replacement switch, but it looks like the gigabit interfaces are all SFP. Do they make a 3560 with GBIC, that way I could reuse my modules? The other problem looks like the SFP doesn't come with SC duplex connectors. That would be a mess if I have to change connectors on my fiber.
It looks like the SFP is very small and may not support the size connectors I am using.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
