The Release Notes for 12.2(25)SED and above describe the software upgrade process using .tar files. However, when I go through the software selector, all I'm offered is .bin files. Can I just make a directory and TFTP the appropriate .bin into it? Are there no longer all the HTML files, etc., that used to come in the .tar package?

Hi,
When you access CCO IOS for the 3750, you will need to check which software feature set you want. The tar files are disguised as 'Web Based Dev Mgr'

If you just use the IOS to configure and manage the switch you don't need the tar file , just download it into flash and set the boot statement.

That's what I thought, but I'd like to know where the full .tar package is, anyway. One of these days we'll probably start looking at the HTML wizadry for network management, but for now I'm a CLI purist.
