I have a cat 5000 that is running a real old version of software, and I am trying to follow the upgrade process to get it up to a later version. When I issue the download command, the switch will act like it is coping the software for a couple minutes and then the following message appears:
Finished network single module download. (1604139 bytes)
ERROR: module: csum=0x1c2d1916 module.csum=0x5fb9
$$$$synnmp$$$$ module length=0x49c61
Any ideas of what this means, I search around TAC and could not find anything.
Thanks in advance.

What kind of Supervisor is it? What software are you upgrading to and from what version? How much DRAM do you have on the switch? If you have a previous output of sh ver, paste it

Thanks for the reply. It turned out to be a bad image that I downloaded from CCO. I had someone else re-download the image and all is good.
Thanks.
