Upgrading a Supervisor Card SUP2 NVRAM

Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade the Non Volatile RAM (NVRAM) of a SUP2 (WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE) ? Our customer's supervisor card has a huge config that has become too big for its NVRAM.

There is just 12Ko left on its NVRAM (12/512 Ko).

Thanks !

Nicolas

Re: Upgrading a Supervisor Card SUP2 NVRAM

You cannot upgrade NVRAM. However, changing the config mode to text mode will help in this case.

Note that with text mode, you will need to do a "wr mem" each time you want to save the config.
