upgrading IOS

hello,

i want to upgrade the feature of my router (1720) from the cisco 2600 using a 12.2(5d) version and ;flash:c2600-i-mz.122-5d.bin. it's possible?

and if the 1720 platform support this version ?

any help?

Nope..IOS version for one platform will not work on any other platforms..In your case 2600 ios will not work on 1720.

to solve your problem, you need to download the ios version for 1720 from the following location (require cco login)
