I have a concern about the upgrade process for the ASA5510. I currently run an ASA5510 v7.0(2)/ ASDM 5.0(2), I have been reading about the latest version 7.2(1) and have questions about the upgrade process.
1. I do not have a "test" lab to run, when I upgrade to the 7.2(1), will there be much downtime for users? I am expecting to see downtime during the flash and reload periods?
2. Will the current "running config" remain after the reload? Will I have to reprogram the interfaces/rules/VPN's?
3. Will the current VPN clients (v4.7) work after reload?
Thanks in advance for any help with these questions, I will be searching these forums for possible solutions as well.

Yes, thank you.
That is one of the articles I have read. I am noting step 9: "Save the running configuration at time of reload" is what will set the device to retain current settings.
