Upgrading RSP4+ at remote sites

Hi,

I have (8) RSP4+ I need to configure and send out to remote sites. Is there a method of loading the configuration from the various sites to the RSP's before sending them out? The sites have various 7500 chassis and interfaces. What I am trying to say is, 'Can I load the configs as is or do I need to have the matching chassis and interfaces in our staging lab for the configs to 'take'. Thanks

Re: Upgrading RSP4+ at remote sites

You can load the configs to NVRAM by copying from a tftp server to startup-config.

Just don't do a wr mem (copy run start) afterwards.

To verify, do a show start.

Mick.
