Upload a image software from Cisco 3550

Hi everybody,

I have this LAN switch with Version 12.1(13)EA1a. I want to take a backup of image software. I use this command "archive upload-sw tftp://10.1.2.56/c3550-i9q3l2-mz.121-13.EA1a.bin" and get this error message "Unable to create temp dir "flash:update".

And dir command shows this"Directory of flash:/

What is going wrong?

Hi,

The image name used in the above command will not work. You are trying to upload the image which is not in the flash. Its in the directory c3550-i9q3l2-mz.121-13.EA1a see above output.

try command

"archive upload-sw tftp://10.1.2.56/c3550-i9q3l2-mz.121-13.EA1a.tar

Let me know if that works ?

Tanks for your replay, but it did'nt work out. I get same error message.
