Upload traffic is high on C2610 router

Most of the time recently, upload is higher compare to download traffic in my cisco 2610 router connected to 3640 at speed of 64kb e1.

Even if ethernet load was disconnected, it remains high.

Could any body help me to solve this problem.

Sift through a “show interface” and see if any anomalies show themselves. The show interface is a pretty decent fingerprint of traffic patterns, especially if monitored over time.

Also, put a sniffer on the line to check the type of data you are having. Could be anything from huge routing table updates to a bad interface.
