Hi friends

One of my customer has asked me to give a UPS and battery requirement for some devices, for example the device 4500 device consumes 4300 watts. The customer wants 72 hours backup. Please advice how can I select UPS ? how many battery need ? How can I calculate ?

Thanks and Regards,

If you go on APC's website, you can enter the device and time requirements, you won't get anywhere near what your customer has specified though!

You have the power consumption massively wrong, it not anything like that, that's more than what a socket can supply!

Dear Martin

I may calculate wrongly but it is mentioned in Cisco site.

4510 chasse consume 200 watts, Sup primary 280 W, Sup secondary 224 W and in 48 port module each port consume 15 W and I have 7 modules.
