urgent: Is Catalyst 40006 PEM hot pluggable?

We need to install Catalyst 4000 Family Power Entry Module (PEM). Do we need to power down the switch?

Is it hot pluggable?

It says 'Ensure that the external power supply is disconnected from the power source before you install and connect it to the PEM.'

It seems to be we need to disconnect the external power for the PEM only. Do we need to disconnect the existing AC connections? i.e. do we need to shut down the switch?

NO, you need to make sure that the PEM is disconnected from external power, you do not need to power down the three other PS in the chassis.
