Usage billing on MAN

Hi I try to find a way to be able to bill internet usage on a MAN architecture.

In fact there is many fiber link on a MAN used to connect many building.

Each segment is routed with 6509's switch. There is one centralize Internet access and all internal user use the same firewall port to go on the Internet.

Is anybody know a way to use IP Subnet for collecting anr report internet usage for billing purpose ?

I guess if you log this service in the firewall, you can capture all the web traffic and can be used for billing

On your 6500's, you should be able to enable netflow data export. This will capture layer 3 flows through the MSFC and export that data to netflow collector.
