User Tracking not reloading properly

I have Campus Manager version 3.2.

When I add a new cisco catalyst 4006, the MAC address comes in but only via uplink of the seed switch. Then, I reinitialize the database and restore. This is when I get the actual switch with proper ports. Do I have to reinitialize the database every time a node is newly installed?

UT gets it's info from Campus Manager's database. If you add a new switch as a seed device then the Campus Manager has to first run a new discovery to get the info from the seed device(s). Once it completes, if you have Ping Sweep enabled in UT, then you can run a new UT discovery by using Discover All to see if it picks upi the new info or not.
