user tracking question(missing hostname,ip add,and subnet )

user tracking table is missing hostname,ip add,and subnet information for all hosts

and ping sweeps have been enabled

so what's the problem?

is there any packet for it??

Make sure you have SNMP RO on one the router, and that the IP of the router is within discovery range. It is not necessary to have the router defined as a seed device.

You need access to the arp cache to get the layer 3 information. Ensure that DNS is accurate so the CW2K will do the ip to hostname translation through nslookup.
